Vintage played with condition.
FADED TORSO FRONT & BACK
Washed & hair brushed. Hair in great condition – lovely & soft. No cuts or missing hair plugs.
NOT wearing her original dress. Dress is from the same year though – WEDDING OF THE YEAR #5743 (1983). Fabric & square metal snap-lock fastener in great condition. Has “A Barbie World of Fashion” B & W tag. Unsure of veil ID – may be from a more modern Barbie. Elastic in good condition – I have pinned it for the photo shoot though. I think shoes are clone shoes – not genuine Barbie.
Genuine vintage diamonte ring. I have given her some pearl earrings from a later Barbie and cut the barbs so that they can be easily removed/inserted.
No pen/texta marks; bites/chews, loose joints, rubbed make-up or vinyl cancer. The torso plastic has uneven fading on front and back – not unusual for these early pink TNT bodies particularly from the Phillipines. I have taken photos of it on black & white backgrounds to give a good idea of the damage to the torso.
